1989 年生于法国Mulhouse, 受Mulhouse音乐学院的Yves Cautrés 老师启蒙,15 岁考入巴黎音乐学院和著名演奏家Walter David、Frederic Tardy 学习双簧管演奏,在学期间还得到了Maurice Bourgue, Jacques Tys 以及Jean-Louis Capezzali 的指导。 因其表现优异,还成为了法国青交、古斯塔夫 马勒青年管弦乐团的成员。

There have been several unforgettable events which have marked Philippe Tondre’s career. Undoubtedly one of his greatest moments was winning the ARD Music Competition as well as the Audience Prize and the prize for the best interpretation of Liza Lim’s commissioned composition in Munich in 2011. In 2012
Philippe Tondre received the « Beethoven Ring » a musical honour given by the Beethoven Fest in Bonn, thus joining the prestigious list of previous recipients including Julia Fischer, Lisa Batiashvili and Gustavo Dudamel. Philippe Tondre’s invitation to appear in the ARTE television Programme «Stars of Tomorrow», hosted by Rolando Villazon, was an exceptional and exciting moment.
Highlights in Philippe Tondre’s 2016/2017 schedule include his Debut with the Staatstheater Darmstadt playing the Strauss Concerto for Oboe, conducted by Eivind Gullberg Jensen. He will also be performing with the Moscow Soloists and Yuri Bashmet in the opening gala of the 10th Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi Russia. During the season there will be chamber concerts and recitals with the Lotus String Quartet, with the Gewandhaus Soloists, and with leading pianist Danae Doerken. He will be embarking on an exceptional Japan Tour with Yu Kosuge, performing a Japanese world premiere for piano quintet, before heading to the China International Oboe Festival and the Seiji Ozawa International Festival in Matsumoto.
Highlight of the last season was Philippe’s collaboration with leading pianist Danae Doerken which bloomed into a CD recording with South West Radio Germany, proposing rediscovered German repertoire. Joined by other young artists - Sebastian Manz, Daniela Koch and Maximilian Hornung, Philippe and Danae then participated in the Molyvos International Music Festival Greece : a new inspiring project binding countries and bringing people from different cultures together during a trying moment in Europe’s history.
